Need to keep home

Posted in BugBug on Aug 7, 2007... modified on Aug 7, 2007

I am 64 years in age. Worked, raised two children and ask for very little. I when I had the means helped whomever I could. Gave much away. Never thought life would turn the tables and leave me with no hope. My factory job left my state, I was 61, no possible call back. Ran the unemployment, looked for work, age did not make it a plus, I developed a hip and back problem from my job in factory, it got worse after layoff. Bills were still there, money got less, I cashed in 401K  as well as my pention just to keep up with everything and hope someone would give me part time work. No such luck. I get responses as " we will keep your file and if we find we have a position come up where you fit the need we will let you know". Well that will not happen.to keep my mobile home that I purchased new in 1998, I had to use all that money  to keep payments  and make up any differences. After that  money  was gone payments had to be made late. The lenders raised interest from 7.0% to the present 11.0% plus. Payments from $189.00 when had funds in 1998 to $290.00 at present with what is now Disability Social Security. $685.00 per month. My mobile is in a park with lot rent that went from $180.00 in 1998 to $240.00 at present. That if you can subtract does not leave enough to even completely pay utilities. I live in Mi and I really rob house payments every other month to keep heat on. I have begged the lenders to lower the payments, they say I do not have enough income to lower them. I have talked to others to refinance, they tell me not enough money to refinance. I owe almost as much on it as I did when I purchased it. It is worth much less as most of you know. They do not appreciate in value. Now I am behind in payments the lenders want to forclose. I called rental GUESS WHAT, they won't rent to me because I don't have enough income. I do not want anyone to pay my way, I will pay back a loan at low payment, I believe in taking care of and earning my way. I want to keep what I have worked for. I do not want to be a prisoner to someone else. Giving up ages a person fastter. Please if anyone could help me I would be ever thankful. If I won the Lottery I would just put back enough for the necessities in my life and help those whom our corporations and government forget. The illegals get more than we do. especially now, I underatnd they will be able to get S>S> etc and take away from seniors. We need to stick together in God and Americans. I love my country but the government officals all haved forgotten about the need in USA

God bless those who can help and those who need help
